NC chef professor Tony de Luca has gone west this summer …but not for a vacation.
De Luca is currently working as a guest chef at Cedar Creek Estate Winery, in Kelowna, British Columbia. He is also teaching cooking classes at the winery, which has twice been recognized as Canada’s Winery of the Year.
He is currently featured on Cedar Creek’s website. Read it here.
Before leaving for Cedar Creek, de Luca explained why he was interested in taking on this temporary position in B.C. during the summer months.
“It allows me to stay connected, that’s very important to me,” he said. “My worst fear is being stagnant. I always want to keep pushing myself.”
We look forward to seeing de Luca back at the CFWI this fall.
