NC will show off its green side this weekend at the Green Living Show in Toronto.
Representatives of the School of Environmental and Horticultural Studies, the Niagara college Sustainability Committee, Niagara Research and Recruitment will work together to share information about NC’s role in sustainability – from our leading-edge environmental programs and innovative research projects to our ambitious sustainability targets and the incorporation of renewable technologies, sustainable practices and energy conservation strategies into our daily operations.
NC’s team at the Green Living Show will also take on this month’s Sustainability Challenge, as they work to gather at least 500 responses to a survey designed to collect demographic information while measuring attitudes toward sustainability – a “wordle” will be developed with the responses. Now in its seventh year, the Green Living Show is North America’s largest consumer event focused on health and sustainability. The show will feature more than 400 exhibitors, and last year drew more than 37,000 visitors. The event takes place at the Direct Energy Centre, and the Niagara College booth is in a prime location near the main entranceway. For those attending, you can find the NC team at booth #920.
