Tips for flu season

Flu season is in full swing in Niagara, and students and staff are encouraged to protect yourself and others by following these steps to limit the spread of the influenza virus:

  • Stay home if you’re sick
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your sleeve              
  • Avoid shaking hands or close contact with people who are sick
  • Get the flu shot – talk to your healthcare provider
