Students in NC’s Recreation and Leisure Services program are holding events this weekend to support their upcoming Second Wind Dreams project — a unique partnership with the Niagara Health System that matches students with extended care residents. The students work with the residents to help them realize unfulfilled lifelong dreams.
Tonight, the students are holding an 80s pub night in the Core. The $10 admission gives you free pizza, non-alcoholic drinks, 80s music buy DJ Kelly Jones, draws and more. For tickets or info, contact Christine Wilkinson.
On Saturday, November 24, students will hold a dream-a-thon at the mall, taking shifts on an eliptical machine for donations to the project. The students will be at the mall from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
