A group of NC Sales and Marketing students has advanced to the third round in the World Collegiate Sales Open – a student sales competition that draws teams from around the world.
Tim Cole, Patrick Fernie and Jesse Scott are representing NC in the competition, which mimics real-world sales tasks and activities in the world of professional sales. They’ve made it to the third round of the competition, which will see the 60 remaining competitors sell Adobe’s Connect web conferencing software. Should they make it to the final round, they will be among 20 student competitors who will vie for top honours at Northern Illinois University in February.
Historically, NC’s sales and marketing students have been top performers in student competitions, consistently ranking among the top teams in the Ontario College Marketing Competitions.
