Sarah Hiseler, a first-year student in NC’s Police Foundations program, has an extra $1,000 to put toward her education thanks to her second-place win in Ontariocolleges.ca’s Apply Early & Win contest.
Hiseler, of Port Colborne, new that NC’s Police Foundations program was her pathway to reaching her goal of being a police officer, and she applied within the first few weeks.
Now in its fourth year, the Ontariocolleges.ca Apply Early and Win contest encourages college applicants to complete their online applications early. Three prizes are awarded, including $2,000 for first place, $1,000 for second place and $500 for third place.
Ontariocolleges.ca was created by Ontario’s 24 public Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology and Institutes of Technology and Advanced Learning.
