More than 650 to graduate at Fall Convocation

More than 650 graduates of Niagara College will receive diplomas or certificates during Fall Convocation ceremonies at the Welland Campus on Friday, October 26 at 10 a.m.

As the Fall Ceremonies move to the Welland Campus, Niagara College will also honour one of the city’s best-known entrepreneurs – Globalive Communications and WIND Mobile chairman and CEO Anthony Lacavera. Lacavera, who will deliver the convocation address, will also receive an Honorary Diploma in Business and Entrepreneurship.

The ceremonies will honour graduates in several program areas, including: Business and Management Studies, Hospitality, Tourism and Administrative Studies, Justice Studies, Allied Health Studies, Nursing and Personal Support Worker Studies, The Canadian Food and Wine Institute, Environment and Horticultural Studies, Technology Studies, Apprenticeship and Technical Training, Academic and Liberal Studies and Part-Time Studies.

The ceremonies will take place in the Welland Campus Athletic Centre.
