Is it a tropical paradise? No, it’s the VP Academic/Educational Pathways, Development and Quality office at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus.
Office staff pulled out all the stops to decorate in full tropical theme for the upcoming Student Appreciation Day to be held March 27. Meagan – “Makana” is her Hawaiian name – Schrader, special projects assistant for EPDQ, reported that Pat Altoft, or “Pakelika” in Hawaiian created the pig roast (see full photo below) and directed the office staff’s decorating effort. Michelle “Mikala” Carile was also an integral part of the team.
Staff divisional offices and service areas are busy planning activities and decorating in a tropical theme for the 17th annual Student Appreciation Day to be held at both campuses on March 27. The event will feature food and beverage treats, prizes, games and – of course – decorations for the students to boost morale before final exams.
Have you decorated your office for Student Appreciation Day? Send InsideNC your photos. Although it looks like room E102 will be tough to beat …
Thank you to Terri “Keli” Stevens who captured their decorating efforts on her iPhone camera, Schrader who emailed them to us, and Karen McGrath for encouraging them to share their efforts with InsideNC.
