{"id":384,"date":"2021-06-10T09:31:26","date_gmt":"2021-06-10T13:31:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.niagaracollege.ca\/enrolmentservices\/?page_id=384"},"modified":"2024-07-23T10:52:45","modified_gmt":"2024-07-23T14:52:45","slug":"osap-access-bursary","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.niagaracollege.ca\/enrolmentservices\/financialaid\/scholarships\/osap-access-bursary\/","title":{"rendered":"OSAP Student Access Guarantee Bursary"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<div class=\"introduction nob b l\">\r\n   The Government of Ontario, in partnership with the province\u2019s colleges and universities, deliver the Student Access Guarantee.<\/div>\r\n\n\n\n<p>The Student Access Guarantee ensures post-secondary students in financial need have access to resources to cover the cost of their tuition, books and other mandatory fees. Niagara College provides financial assistance to postsecondary students in financial need through, bursaries, scholarships, and work study programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To be eligible, students must apply for and receive assistance through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) and also meet the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"is-style-check wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students officially enrolled full time in a program of study at the college.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An Ontario student who is academically qualified according to the institution\u2019s requirements for a particular program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who withdraw or reduce their course load should consult with Financial Aid Office to discuss their continued eligibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>College scholarships, bursaries and\/or award you receive will be deducted from your Student Access Guarantee funding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\r\n<div class=\"alert is-style-yellow icenter\">\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"alert-inner\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p class=\"is-style-p-regular\">OSAP recipients will automatically be considered for the bursary, <strong>no application is required<\/strong>.<br>Bursary amounts vary depending upon your OSAP assessment.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\r\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>For any questions about the Student Access Guarantee Bursary, please contact the Financial Aid and Awards office at 905-735-2211 ext. 7618, or by email at <a href=\"mailto:finaid@niagaracollege.ca\">finaid@niagaracollege.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Student Access Guarantee ensures post-secondary students in financial need have access to resources to cover the cost of their tuition, books and other mandatory fees.
