This is the second field placement for students in the Child and Youth Worker program. Students will interact with children and adolescents in both small and large groups as well as on a one-to-one basis, in a variety of academic, social service and residential settings, leading and/or participating in such activities as therapeutic games, anger management techniques, counselling and advocacy. Students will have further opportunity to enhance the practical and interpersonal skills necessary for employment in this field, as well as explore additional career paths open to Child and Youth Worker. Must meet a minimum requirement of 225 hours
