In this course we will introduce you to the nutrients needed by the human body as well as the role of nutrients in providing the body with energy for exercise. You will examine the principles of diet and healthy weight management as well as the positive and negative aspects of dieting. Using scenarios and case studies, you will also examine nutritional concepts related to health issues throughout the ages, metabolism, weight control, fitness, and performance.
