You will learn the requirements necessary for vegetable production in greenhouses. Using case scenarios, greenhouse visits and problem solving you will develop skills necessary to produce cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers. You will investigate the effect of plant environment on vegetable production and become familiar with current integrated pest management techniques. You will also study selected herbs and research new innovative crops as an alternative to the three main vegetable crops.
