In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of HTML, XML, DOM and JavaScript to build up a Website. You will then learn how to plan, develop, customize, and implement Web mapping applications of different GIS functionalities using Google Maps API and ESRI's ArcGIS Web API and ArcGIS Server. Some other Web mapping applications, such as Manifold's IMS and the open-source Web Map Server, may also be introduced in the course.
