This course is the first of two levels and is a combination of theory and practical. You will be introduced to the basic skills and knowledge required to perform a professional make up application. You will learn of the products, tools, and materials needed and learn correct application techniques. You will study colour theory and how it relates to determining the best look for your clients. You will discover facial symmetry and practice corrective make up techniques accordingly. You will use various cosmetic products and discuss professional make up brands. You will interact with others and use product knowledge and skin analysis to make appropriated product choices and recommendations for your clients. You will adhere to standard industry guidelines for sanitation and sterilization procedures.
