In this course you will be introduced to the engineering process in the context of the ecological restoration project. You will explore, through case studies, the many technical disciplines contributing to the robust design and successful realization of restoration projects, such as planning/environmental assessment, surveying/mapping, water resources engineering, geotechnical engineering, contracting and post-implementation monitoring. You will examine the role that emerging technologies play in the context of ecological restoration.
