You will learn to perform and master skills considered within the scope of practice for the Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP). In some cases, you will be expected to discuss, analyze, and apply problem-solving techniques related to specific therapeutic skills you will be performing. You will learn how to integrate ACP skills into applicable protocols, allowing you to continue practicing at an advanced level competently and safely during simulated scenario situations in EMRG9502. This course will involve successful completion of skill stations and scenarios at a competent level, acceptable at the advanced care level, as outlined in the National Occupational Profile for the Paramedic Practitioner, as 'S' for simulated.
