While Niagara College’s Corporate Communications and Marketing teams operate as separate departments within the Academic and Learner Services division, they do work collaboratively to support the college’s brand and raise the profile of its programs, services, people and initiatives.
The Corporate Communications department specializes in communications planning, media relations, internal communications and issues management, while supporting events, government relations, advocacy and community relations. We offer one-on-one consultation to on-campus departments and do not operate a ticketing or service request system. Learn more about our services here.
The Marketing department develops marketing programs that help promote and support the Niagara College Canada brand. It is an internal department which supports employees and departments within Niagara College. Marketing specializes in print design, digital signage, photography, web design and email marketing, consultation and marketing plan creation, social media, and branded promotional items. Depending on the scope of your project, opportunity or event, communications staff may liaise directly with Marketing for web, digital, social media or print products. For direct Marketing requests, Marketing operates a service request (ticket-based) system. You can submit a Marketing Service Request or contact the Marketing Production Coordinator at [email protected] to discuss your need.
Staff may submit events or key dates to be featured on the calendar by filling out the Submit an Event Form. If approved, the event will be posted to InsideNC and the Niagara College homepage.
Submit an announcement to MyNC at ncbbnews.wpengine.com. Postings can be submitted for students, staff or both.
Note: InsideNC news and story ideas are not accepted as announcements on the MyNC portal.
Employees who are planning a major event should inform the Communications team member for their area to discuss details, and how the event can best be promoted, covered and supported.
