{"id":77050,"date":"2022-06-10T12:46:26","date_gmt":"2022-06-10T16:46:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.niagaracollege.ca\/cae\/?page_id=77050"},"modified":"2023-01-05T09:20:55","modified_gmt":"2023-01-05T14:20:55","slug":"wil","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.niagaracollege.ca\/cae\/wil\/","title":{"rendered":"Work Integrated Learning Open Module Initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<div  class=\"layout-bar content-bar\" style=\"background-color:#ffffff\">\r\n\t<div class=\"r\">\r\n     <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\r\n<div class=\"introduction nob dg l\">\r\n   This comprehensive set of 31 open access, learner-centered modules supports WIL preparedness among post-secondary students.<\/div>\r\n\n\n\n<p>Work Integrated Learning (WIL) has become a core element of post-secondary instruction and a crucial means by which applied and experiential learning is infused into curriculum in highly meaningful and professionally relevant ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These modules are grounded in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heqco.ca\/Pages\/wel.aspx\">The Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario\u2019s (HEQCO)<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heqco.ca\/SiteCollectionDocuments\/HEQCO_WIL_Guide_ENG_ACC.pdf\"><em>A Practical Guide for Work Integrated Learning<\/em><\/a> and represent over 35 hours of rich content that can be used by faculty, career-services staff, and employers to support student learning in applied and work-integrated settings.&nbsp;
