If registration for this particular session is closed, that means it is full. Please note that a second offering is being hosted on May 5th at 1:30 p.m. Please visit niagaracollege.ca/events to register for this future offering.

As you move your courses online, you likely have some questions and concerns about how to assess students effectively. In this workshop, we’ll examine approaches to assessment for online learners. We will identify a variety of online assessments that can be used to assess student learning and will evaluate the benefits and challenges of online assessment in your teaching context. With these considerations in mind, we will also explore strategies to address online assessment constraints and academic integrity concerns.

Please review the following important notes:

  • Registration for each session will close 1 hour prior to the start time.
  • To participate fully in the session, you will require an internet enabled device and a stable internet connection.
  • You will receive a confirmation email to confirm your registration, however many times it is diverted to spam.  Please check your Sophos filter – https://sophosnc.niagaracollege.ca/
  • You will receive a link to join the online session 1 hour before the session is due to begin.
