NC welcomes new students with Winter Orientation

Niagara College is welcoming students beginning their studies this January with Orientation activities that are now underway.

A full slate of activities will take place at the Welland, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara Falls campuses on Friday, Jan. 8, including student services fairs, campus tours, program information sessions and workshops. Students will also be treated to free lunches and live entertainment at each campus.

Activities continue Jan. 11 – 14 with a movie night (Jan. 11) and Karaoke night (Jan. 14) at The Armoury student centre at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus, and a New Year’s Eve 2.0 pub night (Jan. 12) and Mix n’ Mingle (Jan. 14) at The Core student centre at the Welland Campus.

International students will be welcomed with International Orientation events Jan. 6-7, including information sessions, activities and an outing to the Niagara Sky Wheel in Niagara Falls.

Niagara College offers more than 100 diploma, bachelor degree and advanced level programs at campuses in Welland, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Niagara Falls; as well as more than 600 credit, vocational and general interest Part-Time Studies courses.
