On Tuesday November 11 Niagara College will acknowledge the service and sacrifice of the men and women of our armed forces in defence of freedom.
A short service will take place over the public address system at all campuses precisely at 11 a.m. on Tuesday including a reading of the John McCrae poem In Flanders Fields followed by a playing of The Last Post and a moment of silence. Please join our faculty staff students and visitors in participating in this important service of remembrance.
Also on Tuesday NC representatives will attend ceremonies and lay wreaths at local branches of the Royal Canadian Legion.
NC’s Department of Athletics and Recreation also marked Remembrance Day by collecting donations and donating ticket proceeds from Friday’s basketball games to the Royal Canadian Legion.
