September 19, 2025As we approach the second week of the province-wide Support Staff Strike, Niagara College President Sean Kennedy has provided a video message to the College community.
All Niagara College classes will continue as scheduled, as the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) has initiated a province-wide strike of full-time support staff. Picketing is taking place at all campus entrances, and students and non-striking employees should allow extra time and expect delays entering campus. Bargaining continues between Ontario’s 24 publicly funded colleges — including Niagara College — and the Ontario Public Sector Employees Union (OPSEU), which represents full-time support staff.
