The Centre for Educational and Professional Development Professional Development, faculty development, career development, instructional development, personal development, and organizational development are among the terms that can be used to describe the activities of the Centre for Educational and Professional Development, and they all have one general purpose - to enhance the learning environment at Niagara College by providing programs, opportunities and services for all College employees. As well, enhanced employee effectiveness supports the goal of enhancing employee satisfaction. The following list captures the variety of opportunities available to Niagara College employees:
The Centre for Educational and Professional Development values the commitment and contribution of every staff member and operates collaboratively with individuals and departments throughout the College. Development is the shared responsibility of each staff member, each supervisor and the College as a whole. The Centre invites ideas, suggestions and involvement from all staff.
