International Student Services
Airport pick-ups, arranging accommodations, orientation to the community, assistance with banking and health insurance are some of the many personalized services provided. There are no additional charges for these services other than paying third parties, for example, the mandatory health insurance. International students have full access to all college facilities including the learning resource centres, computer labs, campus store, cafeteria, clubs and the student centres. Many students play college-sponsored sports as outlined in the athletics section. As a result, they have the opportunity to make friends with Canadian students and join them in their daily activities. Special activities such as field trips and social gatherings are regularly planned for our international students. Special tutors and conversation partners are arranged for international students so that they may enjoy the company and assistance of English-speaking students their own age. Because students come to the College from around the world, there is a good mix of languages, cultures and interests that makes studying at Niagara College a truly rewarding experience.
