First-year students are invited to Start Right!

Get the jump on college life!

The agenda for this energetic and informative one-day event includes:

  • College Survival 101 - learn about the people, places and things that are in place now and throughout the year
  • Six mini-sessions on topics students request most: the college social scene, computer log-in and resources, money matters, athletics and recreation, health stuff and the inside scoop on jobs - on and off campus
  • Plus, handy topic guides: Cleaning and Laundry 101, Your First Grocery Order, Roommate Harmony, How to Make Your Money Last Past Halloween, and more
  • Campus tours and other important self-directed activities (to help you skip the line-ups in September).

The 2009 Start Right Workshop is free and includes workshop materials and free parking.

Students can choose one of four sessions offered (see below). We recommend you sign up a session at the campus where you'll be attending in September.
