Student Applied Research Opportunity Fund

Grants for $500 to $1,500 from Niagara College

The Student Applied Research Opportunity Fund provides resources to encourage students at Niagara College to engage in innovative activities that benefit the College, faculty and staff, students, and/or external partners.

How to Qualify:

Support may be provided for the following types of initiatives:

  • Projects aimed at developing new and innovative products or services
  • Applied research projects with industry
  • Knowledge transfer activities from faculty/staff/students to business, industry, community or educational partners
  • Entrepreneurial initiatives

Grants will be awarded in the amounts of $500 - $1500. Proposals will be reviewed by a committee made up of staff, faculty, students, and industry advisors.

Student International Applied Research Opportunity Fund

Interested in an international applied research project? All Niagara College students may be eligible for the Student International Applied Research Opportunity Fund. For more information on how to qualify, email research@niagaracollege.ca or download an application form to view funding guidelines and evaluation criteria.
