Niagara College Student Research Opportunity Fund
The Student Applied Research Opportunity Fund provides resources to encourage students at Niagara College to engage in innovative activities that benefit the College, faculty and staff, students, and/or external partners. Support may be provided for the following types of initiatives:
- Projects aimed at developing new and innovative products or services
- Applied research projects with industry
- Knowledge transfer activities from faculty/staff/students to business, industry, community or educational partners
- Entrepreneurial initiatives
Grants will be awarded in the amounts of $500 - $1500. Proposals will be reviewed by a committee made up of staff, faculty, students, and industry advisors.
Proposals for funding can be submitted to Niagara Research:
- via email at research@niagaracollege.ca
- delivered in person to W005 at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus
- delivered in person to TC32 at the Welland Campus
