Contributing over 20 years of experience in microelectronics and photonics, Jay Yatulis continues to advance the Photonics Studies program at Niagara College (one of only two colleges in Ontario to offer a photonics education) in order to meet the growing demand for trained technologists and technicians. He and his team utilize on-campus, leading-edge labs and a clean room fabrication facility to equip students with desirable skills in optical, electronic, laser and vacuum technology. Previous areas of research have included prototype development, solar cell technology, laser applications, and display technology, and simulations including 3D modelling.
