Graduate Certificate Bursary

A $750 bursary is available to eligible students who are enrolled full-time in a Graduate Certificate Program. When applying for the bursary, you must complete a basic application form detailing your current financial status.

The Graduate Certificate Bursary application is available online at niagaracollege.ca/finaid.


Admission Requirements

Minimum Admission Requirements for 2010-11 (OSS):

  • University Degree from any discipline or College Diploma in a related area of study (as determined by the College), OR an acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education (as determined by the College), PLUS
  • Proof of English proficiency.

Selection and Ranking Process:

  • A supplemental evaluation may be required.

Program Requirements:

  • Transportation:
    Students are responsible for their own transportation in order to complete field placement requirements. Niagara cannot guarantee placements that are readily accessible by public transportation. Students are responsible for all costs connected with such transportation.

Educational Pathways

Niagara College has articulated agreements providing students with degree completion and credit transfer opportunities with many other colleges and universities.

Nancy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Western Ontario, London.

Prior to coming to Niagara College, she was an Information Officer for the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, and for the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada.

Nancy was also a Freelance Public Relations Writer for 13 years. She has taught for ten years at the College.
