How to Obtain Your Equivalencies
To obtain credit for equivalency courses taken, individuals will be required to submit their application to the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA).

The tuition fee payable to Niagara College for in-class courses CEHR1015; CEHR1025; CEHR1035 does not include the CPA material, exam and CPA membership fees.
In addition to the tuition fee paid to Niagara College, students are also responsible for the following CPA fees:
- materials and exam fee of $300 (PCP) or $400 (CPM) per course
- membership fee $170 for one year
Students must pay these fees directly to CPA at www.payroll.ca
Individuals registering for these in-class courses must register with both Niagara College and the CPA at least 2 weeks prior to the start date to receive the materials and textbook in time for the first class.
Registration forms complete with payment must be submitted to the CPA no later than 10 business days prior to the course start date to ensure the timely delivery of printed course material and access to the online material. For all registrations processed by the deadline described above, the printed course material will be shipped to your preferred mailing address by FedEx (a tracking number will be emailed to you) and an access code to the online material will be emailed to your preferred e-mail address, one business day prior to the course start date.

How to Register
Students do not apply to our part-time equivalency programs. Instead, enrol in and successfully complete each course listed in the Program Delivery section. Once you have successfully completed all of the required courses, you may follow the directions of the professional association to obtain your equivalencies.
