Designed for those seeking a career in bookkeeping or an entry level accounting position, completion of this Bookkeeping program will provide you with the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of bookkeeping procedures and practices and how they are applied in both a manual and computerized environment.

Our part-time Bookkeeping program prepares graduates for entry-level bookkeeping positions in a variety of public and private sector industries. Possible career paths include:

  • Accounts Receivable/Payable clerk
  • Payroll Assistant

Program Benefits

Students can complete the Bookkeeping Program of Study while earning credit toward your Canadian Institute of Bookkeeping (CIB) Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation and/or full-time diploma.

Note: Students must achieve a minimum grade of 65% in the Canadian Bookkeeping Institute recognized courses in order to apply for transfer credit status towards the CIB Certified Bookkeeping designation.

Students do not apply to our part-time programs. Instead, enrol in and successfully complete each course listed in the Program Delivery section.
