New! Japanese Art of Kintsugi
The ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi, literally meaning 'fusing with gold', was originally an art form reserved only for nobility of long ago. Kintsugi is a process whereby broken vases, plates, glass and ceramic ware are put together with various elements to make the re-formed broken pieces more valuable than the originals! In this fun, hands-on workshop, bring new life to shattered pieces to reconstruct old plates, or bring a modern twist to create new art or jewelry. Bring your saved broken plates or vases to class, or intact pieces you don't mind breaking! All additional materials included in the fee.
