Physical Evaluation Test (PET) Paramedic Testing

Course Code: SMNR1516C

Paramedic Applicant Testing is comprised of two individual events. The first is a three cycle obstacle course, evaluating typical physical traits needed of a paramedic. The second is a stretcher lift and carry in which a stretcher weighted to approximately 210 pounds must be carried in a controlled manner with a partner while ascending and descending two flights of stairs. Each event and the overall test will be evaluated using a pass/fail grading structure. Visit www.niagaracollege.ca/paramedictesting to download IMPORTANT documentation. Read them thoroughly, and COMPLETE all necessary forms before arriving on your scheduled testing date/time.
