Wines of the New World
In this course you will learn about the sensory characteristics and production practices of wines from the New World wine producing countries of Canada, the United States of America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. You will explore the geography, history, grape varieties, wine styles and wine making philosophies of these countries. The theory elements of the course are supplemented most weeks by a series of practical tasting sessions that highlight the country or region of study.
