Small Business Marketing Skills
The major purpose of this course is to enable the student to develop a marketing plan for a small business of their choice. In the process of developing an actual marketing plan, the student will develop and integrate product, distribution, pricing and promotion strategies, including specific sections on media selection, media budgeting and personal selling, into the marketing plan. In addition, students will develop a customer service plan as a component of the marketing plan. The class lectures for this course will therefore emphasize the topics and content of greatest use for the student in developing his/her marketing plan.
