You will apply basic mathematical techniques in solving problems related to the health science field including systems of measurements and metric conversions. You will solve applied problems employing ratios, proportions and variation. You will analyze linear equations and manipulate formulas. Finally you will investigate descriptive statistics, focusing on measures of central tendency and dispersion for various forms of data.
