Mathematics I for the School of Technology Studies

Mathematics I is a common first term math course which is offered to all Technician and Technologist students enrolled in the School of Technology Studies. The course begins with an intensive review of basic algebra. You will apply algebraic skills to manipulate relevant technical formulae and employ correct notation within calculations. You will solve linear equations and systems of equations by applying various methods. You will use trigonometric functions to solve problems involving right triangle and oblique triangles. The course will conclude with topics of vectors, sine and cosine graphs.
