Tea Sensory Development
In this course students focus on the science of sensory evaluation. Students will develop their tasting skills and will differentiate between drinking and tasting, and taste and flavour. A specific focus will be analyzing the difference between teas based on their growing conditions and preparation methods. Tea tasting vocabulary is further developed, as other products such as chocolate, olive oil and coffee are tasted in addition to teas. TEA 103 (through the Tea and Herbal Association of Canada) is considered an equivalent.
