Drawing in 3-D: Linear Perspective

Course Code: GENI1599C

Make your artwork come to life by learning to draw in perspective - a technique that will allow you to capture the illusion of depth on any flat surface. Linear perspective utilizes the basic rules of geometry to add logic and realism to drawings and paintings. By presenting the rules of perspective in an easy to understand way, this course will instill a level of comfort when developing artistic images using vanishing points, horizon lines, angles of elevation and picture planes. NOTE: Required materials include graphic pencils (HB, 2B, 6B), a kneadable eraser and a drawing pad (14" x 17" or larger). Please note RETURNING STUDENTS are welcomed. New subject material will be provided to make the retake of this course a refreshing experience.
