Jewelry Metalworking - Level I

Course Code: GENI1144C

Make stunning jewelry using metalwork techniques such as metal etching, soldering, riveting, and enamelling in this hands-on course. Each week the instructor will highlight a different technique to provide the basic training for your new hobby or small business dream as a jewelry-making artist. Topics will include: Jewelry metalwork tools and their uses; metal etching; jump-ring making and basic chain-maille; soldering and riveting; enamelling and metal forming; and, using bronze clay and kiln work. NOTE: The teacher will discuss supplies and specialty tools at the first class. Materials are included in the fee.
