An introductory macroeconomics course that will address economic problems facing Canada and Canadians today, and the policy choices confronting governments in dealing with these issues. After an introduction that includes some basic microeconomics of supply and demand, the course continues to discuss unemployment, inflation, market equilibrium and fiscal policy. Efforts are then made to explain for the student, the concepts of money, banking, and stabilization policies.
