Drafting with AutoCAD
This course is a practical look into the drafting techniques required to create professional looking drawings with AutoCAD. This program will expand the student's knowledge of AutoCAD and will provide the basic draftsmanship skills needed to succeed. Course exercises will be diversified so students can apply the principles to most drafting disciplines. Students can expect minimal lecture time and maximum CAD drawing time. Course topics will include drafting room practices, drafting instruments and equipment, sheet selection and format, graphic standards and lettering, drawing layout, multi-view drawings, sectional and elevation views, dimensions and notations, utilizing Raster images, drawing reproduction and storage.
