Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour

Course Code: COUN1004C

In this Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour Orientation Program, participants will examine the parameters of contributing factors, verbal or physical presentation to de-escalation, disengaging or self-protection skills, and parallel team interventions, for dealing with individuals who are feeling unsafe, being outwardly aggressive or out-of-control. The course will appeal to individuals in a variety of disciplines, as well as parents who deal with violent or aggressive children or adults. Upon successful completion of the exam, participants will receive a card of recognition from Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour (UMAB). This card is valid for one year. NOTE: 100% ATTENDANCE AT ALL CLASSES IS MANDATORY FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION AND CERTIFICATION OF THIS COURSE.
