Photoshop - Level I

Course Code: COMP1653C

Today, a major part of Graphic and Advertising communication is done via the photographic image. In Graphics, the combination of text with artwork and photographs comprises a major part of the industry. One of the most recent major changes has been the evolution of computer programs and digital imaging in photographic applications, Today's graphic artist must learn these digital processes as they are rapidly becoming the new tools of the industry. To ignore the new computer software applications in the visual arts and commercial graphics fields, is to gradually become out of touch with the skills necessary for employment in these areas. Students will be introduced to the digital imaging processes through the software program of Adobe Photoshop.
