The course will cover health & safety components as well as how to reduce operating costs for breweries. This course will discuss the following topics: Leading industry trends, intro to total quality management, HACCP / Food Safety Programs, SGS Canada BRC (brewing perspective), green brewing initiatives - basic starting points as a guide to greener brewing, what to look for, biggest impacts that lead to change, and simple metrics to start tracking.
