Small Engine Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Course Code: AUTO1049C

This course is designed to provide students with instruction on the repair of small engines such as motorcycles, snowmobiles, tractors, chainsaws and lawnmowers. Two and four stroke cycle operations, along with ignition and carburation systems, will be discussed. The student will also be instructed in the function of valves and pistons as they relate to the small engine. Students should take their own small engines and a pair of safety glasses to the first class.
