A Guide for Parents and Guardians of Prospective Students

Welcome Parents and Guardians!

Niagara College recognizes the important role that parents, guardians, and family members play in a student's decision to attend college.

No doubt, as your child prepares for his/her college experience, you share in the excitement, the nervousness ... and the worry.

Questions like "Will she do well in school? Will he make friends? Is the campus safe? Will the money last? Will he eat right? What if she gets homesick?" are on the minds of parents and students alike.

At Niagara College, we have many friendly and knowledgeable staff available to help with the questions, concerns, and needs that arise.

For your convenience, we have added this guide to help you access and understand the wide variety of information and resources available to current and prospective students, and to help you stay informed during the school year.

This year, more than 3,600 students will begin their studies at Niagara. And whether they come to us from around the corner, across the country, or around the world, we're here to help them - and you - to have the best possible college experience.

Niagara College is one of 24 Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology established under the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act. It is subject to the regulations set by the Government of Ontario.
