Setup Student Email

  1. The log in page of our student email system

    A sample of the student email login page. The page will have an image that says “Office365”, and then two input boxes – one for your email address, and one for your password.

    Niagara College uses Microsoft Office365 email for our student email system.

  2. Enter your student email. Your student email uses the following format:, where “username” is your MyNC username.
  3. Enter your temporary password. Your temporary password (used when logging in for the first time) is the date of your birth, using the following format: YYYYMmmDD. For example, if your birthday is June 12, 1990, your temporary password would be 1990Jun12.
  4. After you enter your username and temporary password, you will be prompted to create and save your own password. Once your new password is saved you will be prompted to log into your email account.
  5. After logging in, click on the “Inbox” link to read email. Be sure to watch the the Office365 video tour and Quick Start Guide, available in your Inbox.
