Database Help - Enabling Scripting

Internet Explorer for Windows

• click "Tools" along the top menu bar
• select "Internet Options"
• click the "Security" tab
• click the "Custom Level" button
• scroll down to the heading "Scripting" and, under "Active Scripting", make sure the "Enable" option is selected, then click the "OK" button

Internet Explorer for Mac

• click "Explorer" along the top menu bar
• select "Preferences"
• expand the "Web Browser" menu and select "Web Content"
• check the checkboxes for "Show style sheets" and "Enable scripting"
• click on "OK"

Netscape for Windows

• click "Edit" along the top menu bar
• select "Preferences"
• looking through the "Category" list on the left-hand side, click the little arrow to the left of "Advanced", then select the "Scripts & Plugins" item which will display the Scripts & Plugins options on the right
• under the heading "Enable JavaScript for", put a check-mark in the box next to "Navigator" , then click the "OK" button

Netscape for Mac

• click "Netscape" along the top menu bar
• select "Preferences"
• expand the "Advanced" option and select "Scripts & Plugins"
• under "Enable JavaScript for", click the checkbox next to "Navigator"
• click on "OK"

Mozilla Firefox

• click "Tools" along the top menu bar
• select "Options "
• click the "Content" button
• put a check-mark in the boxes next to "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript", then click the "OK" button

Safari

• click "Safari" along the top menu bar
• select "Preferences"
• click "Security"
• check "Enable JavaScript"
• close the window
