Database Help - Disabling Pop-up Blockers

Internet Explorer for Windows

• click "Tools" along the top menu bar
• scroll down to "Popup Blocker"
• if the Popup Blocker is currently on, the option "Turn Off Popup Blocker" should appear to the right; scroll over and click on this
• if the Popup Blocker is currently off, the option "Turn On Popup Blocker" should appear to the right; leave this as it is

Netscape for Windows

• click "Edit" along the top menu bar
• select "Preferences"
• looking through the "Category" list on the left-hand side, click the little arrow to the left of "Privacy & Security", then select the "Popup Windows" item which will display the Popup Windows options on the right
• under the heading "Popup Windows", make sure there is no check-mark next to "Block unrequested popup windows", then click the "OK" button

Netscape for Mac

• click "Netscape" along the top menu bar
• select "Preferences"
• expand the "Advanced" option and select "Popup Windows"
• uncheck "Block unrequested sites"
• click on "OK"

Mozilla Firefox

• click "Tools" along the top menu bar
• select "Options"
• click the "Content" button
• make sure there is no check-mark next to "Block Popup Windows", then click the "OK" button

Safari

• click "Safari" along the top menu bar
• uncheck "Block Pop-Up Windows"

Norton Internet Security (Symantec)

For Norton Internet Security 2005:

• click "Norton Anti-Spam" along the left-hand side
• click "Status & Settings"
• if there is a check-mark in a circle next to the link that reads "Pop-Up Blocking" in the middle of the screen, click that link and then click the "Turn Off" button that will appear to the right

For Norton Internet Security 2004 or 2003:

• click "Norton Internet Security" along the left-hand side
• click "Status & Settings"
• if there is a check-mark in a circle next to the link that reads "Ad Blocking" in the middle of the screen, click that link and then click the "Turn Off" button that will appear to the right
