MURALS Online Video Tutorials

MURALS online library user guides explain how to locate and use many library resources using short, instructional online video modules which are simple and quick. They cover many of our databases including EBSCOhost, InfoTrac, ProQuest, as well as search engines, encyclopedias,and governmental resources.

LearnOntario.ca: Online Tutorials for Standard Workplace and Production Software Applications

The LearnOntario.ca (http://learnontario.ca/software) portal provides discovery and access to the quality learning tutorials that will help you make the most of your digital literacy skills... over 700 videos available now, and more being added weekly.

Research Database Help

** NEW: Your Username and Password are now required for both on and off campus **

To login to databases you will need:

You will be prompted for these before using any of our Research Databases. For students, this information is given to us from the Registrar's Office. Staff and faculty can contact the library to confirm their employee I.D. number and pin information.

If you have not acquired your student card, please visit the Niagara College Photo ID Submission Card System webpage.

If you believe you are a valid user but your ID number and PIN are not being accepted by the system, please contact the Library during business hours so that we can verify your information.

Plus:

  1. Cookies must be enabled on your Web browser
  2. JavaScript/Scripting must be enabled on your Web browser
  3. Popup blockers must be disabled (that is, you must temporarily allow popups)
  4. As a last resort, you may have to disable any firewalls you have set up

You can change your computer's settings temporarily using the instructions under the links above. Remember to change your settings back when you are finished, particularly settings changed under Disabling Popup Blockers and Disabling Firewalls.
